COMMUNITY LED PLAN UPDATE
A meeting was held on Tuesday 17th November to present the findings of this Plan. The Steering Group would like to thank those people who braved the weather to attend.
At this point, the work of the Steering Group is mainly done - apart fromsome ongoing monitoring.
My heart-felt thanks go out to everyone who has been involved for all of their unstinting hard work and commitment.
It has taken nearly 3 years and has not been the easiest of tasks! It is now over to the community to keep the project alive. So, many thanks to those volunteers who have already got involved - with defibrillator and Neighbourhood Watch Scheme - and to those who have agreed to pursue some of the remaining actions.
We will be in touch in the New Year to discuss the next steps.
If anyone would like a hard copy of the Plan, or would like to get involved with any of the proposed actions, please contact me on 853861.

NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN UPDATE
At a meeting on 13th April, four of the remaining five parishes in the North East Wiltshire Villages Area officially agreed that Purton and Lyneham could leave the NEW-V process and gave commitment to continue themselves.
We are awaiting the final decision of Lydiard Tregoze before we can continue. This is expected in time for the next meeting on 10th May.
Further updates will follow.
