Christmas coffee morning on Tuesday 5th, 10.30-12.00 in the Village Hall.
Kim Gough is stepping down and it will no longer be a church based activity. If
there are one or two of you that would like to keep it running as a community coffee
morning that would be lovely.. You would need to consult the village hall committee
to sort out the details. We shall have a Christmas raffle and Jeans cards will be
there and our last fund raiser will be for the motor neurone association. My thanks
for all the support you have given over the years, we have raised quite a bit for
both home and worldwide charities. 👏👏👏
Carols at Greenway Saturday 9th December 6pm.
By special request there will be carols at Greenway Farm with mulled wine and mince
pies on Saturday 9th December at 6pm. A great way to kick start the festive spirit!!
And lovely of Angus to open his home for us all.
Lastly, in preparation for our Busy Bees Nativity and Christingle on 17th at 3pm
and for the Carol service on Christmas Eve at 6pm, with the usual candlelight, mulled
wine and mince pies,we need to give our church a special clean and polish. I will
be there from 9.30am on Saturday 16th to polish and dust and if anyone would like
to come along and help for half an hour you would be very welcome. We will provide
all the necessary equipment and a cup of coffee to keep you warm!
I will do a last minute reminder of these things for you all.
We look forward to seeing you all at one or all of the above!
